WILLIAM LLOYD'S
VIDEOS
WHEN YOU SOUND LIKE THAT
This is a video of a song from the CD.  It is a
homage of sorts to Bob Dylan and also a call to do
what you can, where you're at, with what you have.
HARLAN COUNTY
Performed by William Lloyd, Danny See, and The 614
Mafia.  This was a spontaneous shooting by Michael
Fridley, in front of his house in Columbus, Ohio some
time in May of 2007.  A one of a kind happening!

William's spontaneous monologue was caught on film by
Allyson Marie in May of 2007 in Columbus, Ohio, outside of Musicol
Studio.  After a long day of recording and mixing for the CD (
In The
Basement: Conjuring), William was still on a roll.  Topics addressed
include: Flying sorcerers, music tricks, horticulture, a song and
dance routine, the "mysterious 3-step process," the Taxonomy of
Magnitude, and the death of Ahmed Ertegun (at the hands of Keith
Richards?).  Michael Fridley and Allyson add spice and commentary
to the routine.  Only available on a "local link."
CLIPS FROM THE SONG "69"
A TEASER VIDEO

In 1969 my mother took Mike and me on a Greyhound bus
from Columbus, Ohio to Grand Island, Nebraska.  This is a
song about the year 1969 and some of the monumental
events that occurred that year.  You can get the full song
on the
CD William Lloyd--In the Basement: Conjuring.
Relax, Tune In, Have Some Fun!  Love, William
Carolyn and I shot this video on location at the Garden of Eden
in Lucas, Kansas and at Coronado Heights in Lindsborg, KS.
We would like to thank the folks at the Garden of Eden for
allowing us to film there.  We also want to acknowledge the
visionary genius of the Garden's creator, S.P. Dinsmoor.  For
information on the Garden and Dinsmoor (who has been called
"the William Blake of the American Wild West"), this link is a
good place to start:

When I Meet Michael Stipe
A song about my brushes with fame with REM singer Michael
Stipe. The close calls came at the Beck Tavern in Columbus,
Ohio and at the 2004 Vote for Change concert in Cleveland. The
song is also a metaphor for the elusive and perhaps illusory
belief that when this happens, everything will be all right. Carolyn
Q. and I recorded this as part of a poetry reading at the Little
Theatre in Durant, Ok. The studio version of the song is
available digitally as a single and as part of
